Archaeological Consultants of the Carolinas, Inc. (ACC) conducted an archaeological investigation of the undeveloped portions of the Glen Dornoch Golf Course, in Little River, South Carolina. The 224-acre golf course is bounded by US Highway 17 and the Intracoastal Waterway.
A total of twelve archaeological resources were identified during the survey. Of these twelve resources, two (38HR475 & 38HR476) were recommended potentially eligible for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). Following is a discussion of data recovery activities conducted on these two sites.
