Archaeological Consultants of the Carolinas, Inc. (ACC) conducted an archaeological investigation of the undeveloped portions of the Glen Dornoch Golf Course, in Little River, South Carolina. The 224-acre golf course is bounded by US Highway 17 and the Intracoastal Waterway.
A total of twelve archaeological resources were identified during the survey. Of these twelve resources, two (38HR475 and 38HR476) were recommended potentially eligible for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). Following is a discussion of data recovery activities conducted on these two sites.
